SARGENT WiFi-enabled Lockset Now Compatible with DHS Software

SARGENT, an ASSA ABLOY Group company, announces that its Profile Series v.S2 WiFi-enabled lockset now integrates with the Eclipse access control software suite from Digital Horizon Solutions, a provider of enterprise-level access control and integrated security solutions.

This integration enables end-users to incorporate SARGENT v.S2 locksets into an access control system that can configure, commission, control and monitor the lock. Benefits of this solution include ease of installation, time savings and cost reductions based on minimal requirements for labor and peripherals. The SARGENT hardware supports open standard WiFi network security with encryption and the Eclipse System incorporates it into its powerful .NET open architecture to provide the ability to monitor and real-time locking capabilities of a door. Customers can enjoy having the reader, lock, command and control capabilities all in one package.

By reducing hours, some companies can avoid the more wrenching task of sacking staff as sales slump. It also allows them to hold on to trained workers so they are better positioned to boost sales when the economy emerges from the current downturn, reported Bloomberg.com. Full Story
