New REHAU-Polytec 50 Hybrid Curtain Wall System

The new REHAU-Polytec 50 hybrid curtain wall system offers flexible single- or multi-story window configuration capabilities.  With slim 2-inch (50 mm) sightlines, the system provides an aesthetically pleasing and modern design that admits maximum daylight. This polymer-based system promotes energy efficiency with exceptional thermal insulation, and can accommodate up to 1 9/16-inch (40 mm) thick glass or panels for enhanced acoustical and energy benefits.  Offering a U-factor down to 0.28, it also provides water tightness of up to 25 psf according to ASTM E331, and a patented drainage system protects against inside water leakage. 

The system’s encapsulated steel reinforcement ensures optimum strength for architectural designs that incorporate large spans.  With numerous customizable features, the system offers a variety of exterior aluminum capping profile possibilities, and can easily accommodate operating units such as tilt-turn, hopper and awning windows.

Delayed Egress Exit Device 

The new SDC S6000D series delayed egress panic and fire exit devices are available in rim mount, mortise and vertical rod configurations. A wall mount controller incorporates all delayed egress logic for 15 or 30 second exit delay, alternating 85 db tone and voice message with a digital countdown display that provides clear and comprehensive instructions for persons without prior knowledge of door operation and personnel notification. A keypad provides reset and bypass control eliminating the need of keys that may be misplaced or lost. Applications include retail loss prevention, wandering patient control and nursery infant protection.

Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies has formed a strategic partnership with three security technology providers to sell, install and support a "Unified Solution" that integrates access control, camera and video management.
