Malcolm Eyre, FDHI/CSC to Join ASSA ABLOY

ASSA ABLOY Door Group Inc. (Canada), represented by the Fleming and Baron Brands is pleased to announce the hiring of Malcolm Eyre, FDHI/CSC in the role of Director of Business Development effective January 1, 2010.  Malcolm will be responsible for all Hollow Metal sales in Canada, specific areas of the U.S. and some overseas locations.    

Malcolm comes to us from ARD Toronto where he held the position of Ontario Sales Representative.  He has also worked at All Steel Doors and was National Sales Manager at Baron Metal Industries.

Malcolm is a member of DHI Canada Board of Directors, DHI International and Canada Education Councils, former President of DHI Ontario and Canada and an instructor for DHI Canada Schools.

Roper Brothers Lumber Co. blamed the economy for closing its stores and manufacturing operations in seven locations in Virginia, including Richmond, Lynchburg and Fredericksburg.
